It was a foolish thing to have a relationship with someone you don't like, what more to get married with someone you don't even know the name.
She looked straight into Bee's eyes and spoke, "Last thing I wanted is for my Mum to send a Howler letting everyone know about this." That was mostly on top of her worries. That would be her end, for sure.
Though her Mum had been nosy about her life, she was sure, this was all her Dad's plans. "What I know is that it's my older sister's getting married. Not me." Bee's next words made Erin's body tremble. The thing is, she hadn't told her about the Muggle ex-boyfriend yet. "We've been having a rough patch lately..." avoiding Bee's eyes, "...which eventually lead to breakup."
Wait, Erin....you're making things more confusing here.
Her older sister was the one getting married and not her? O.o ...Huh?
"Okay...what? Your older sister is getting married and not you? Is she the one being engaged and not you, then?" Was she hearing everything wrong now? Was Erin playing her around?
Asdfghjklk.
...
"Oh." They broke up? If Beezus' face wasn't scrunched up in utter confusion right now, she would've demanded more explanation about how Erin, assuming she did, ended things with the muggle guy but as her brain wasn't quite understanding what her fellow Ravenclaw meant about the whole older sister getting married thing, more about Erin's break up will have to wait. For now.....she would appreciate if her confusion be cleared up.
Merrrrrrrrrlin...she was going to need lots of ice cream after this.
