Not feeling so sure of what he was doing, Josh kept walking in the corridor towards the boss' office even though his feet threatened to make his way away from the place, a certain part in his mind screaming him to forget about it and get back to his work or whatever he was supposed to do that day. But the other part of him was determined to do what he was going to do. It was necessary to do so for...the future.

So, yes, he was determined. He was not going to let that other thought affect his actions. No, he was not going to. Anyway, it was too late to change his mind when he finally reached to the door and knocked on it. Knocking on the door then running away would be a really bad and inappropriate joke for the boss man.
