She sat, shoveling ice-cream into her mouth until finally she'd finished the bowl.

"Merlin..." Guess that was the end of ice-cream for her but vomit was the worst flavour they could find...right? So she might not even need another bowl anyway. "I think this is the first time candy's ever betrayed me. You never see chocolate frogs doing something like this."

Lex leaned forward in her seat and watched him picking. "I think that's the last one. You see anymore?" That awful flavour might have found someway of messing with her eyesight. If he was done then they could get back to tasting and he could pick her flavour carefully.
"No, but sometimes they hop out the window," he said about the chocolate frogs. But they were guaranteed to taste like chocolate and never vomit, so Lex still had a point. "You've never gotten vomit before?" Because for someone who ate as much candy as Lex did, he was sure she'd come across it in her lifetime, right? Maybe she'd just gotten lucky.

Until now.

Aidan sifted the beans carefully through his fingers, and rolled them all around the plate to make sure no dark greens were left. There weren't. "Nope. All gone. Taste gone, too?" Because if so... "Take that white one," he pointed.
