Jake stopped at the doorway, catching sight of the chalk board before he was even fully in the room. That was... suspicious. He looked around quickly for Knox, but she wasn't even there. The only people in the room were Alexa, Melanie, Ella, and Alec.
Deciding to just go with it (maybe they would have an exceptionally nice substitute professor... that could happen, right?), Jake took a seat near the other students in the room. "Hey," he greeted, leaning back in his chair.
