" Then her brain clicked why hadn't she thought of this stuff until now. Was she to wrapped up in school and Ethan to think clearly about it or was it just not there until now. "The library.. the old year books. I wonder if there is pictures." She couldn't help the excited look on her face. Pictures of her mom at hogwarts it was like finding a golden treasure. Feeling him squeeze her hand she looked down at it, lifting his hands to her lips and kissing it. "Of course I thought of you. I couldn't wait to show you." She couldn't think of anyone else that would know how much this meant to her and since it was so special he was the only one she wanted around.
She saw him take both her hands and really look at her. She couldn't help to look at him so lovingly. He was always so worried about her. "I know it was and I'm sorry I made you worry." She couldn't hide the upset feeling she still had for not seeing the hit coming and the fact that her broom was broken. She then tried to come up with the best answer. "They are still around just a bit. I plan on seeing Hadley about them." She was not going near that Healers office, feeling happy to the fact that she was only part time and not at school often. A small shudder went through her thinking about it.
Moving her eyes back to him she smiled, "You are an amazing player my hot keeper boy." She chuckled and kissed his cheek. "I think Mariel would be super proud of you. Keeper was her position, right?" Min almost forgot she played professionally that was a cool thing about her, but it also made her nervous to practice with her knowing she could never be that good. "Well I think you could if you really wanted to, but then where would your pl *deep breath* plants be without you." She gave a small smile hating that she was stumbling through anything that dealt with his passion.
She was still grinning looking at the trophies, making a mental image to store in her brain of her mothers name. It was just to amazing for words. She looked at the championship trophy from a few terms back where her name sat, she still felt lucky to even have been a part of that since she was just a sub that match. It was so amazing to have her name so closely to her mothers. Eyes meeting Ethan's she smiled, "Did you find your mom's name at all?"
Ethan couldn't help but smile as he looked at Minerva.. her excitement was contagious and he was genuinely happy for her. He tilted his head, looking at her a bit curiously at her words.
"What do you mean? You're a great beater.." He didn't know why she never thought she was as good as he could see that she was.
"I bet she would be really proud of you." His green eyes glanced around the room, thinking about all the past players and how their own names would be in here on trophies too when he vaguely heard her words filter through his mind. Pictures.. why didn't he think of that before? He snapped his eyes to her and opened his mouth to say something but it seemed she had the same idea. He chuckled a bit thinking how much on the same wavelength they were right now and he nodded happily.
"Yes.. I think they would have them.. my mum showed me one of her old yearbooks once. We should head over to the library next." He smiled at the kiss to his hand, just happy to share in this moment with her knowing how special and important it was.
His smile faltered just a bit as he thought about the game they played against each other.. his memories of that bludger hit and her reluctance to wake up still fresh in his mind. He tried to smile a bit, just to be reassuring, and he shook his head lightly.
"No, don't be sorry.. It wasn't your fault and I'm going to worry about you whether you like it or not." He chuckled just a bit, then frowned some.
"The headaches are still lingering?" he asked slowly, then nodded.
"Okay.." Yes, he thought Hadley was a much better option than that horrid woman, whether that was her chosen profession or not. He noticed Min's shudder and he couldn't help to pull her a little closer into a hug, just holding her silently for a moment.
Oh, was he blushing? Maybe a little.. he smiled at her words and the kiss on his cheek.
"I don't know how amazing I am.." Though he did feel like he was settling into his new position a little more. And he grinned a bit at her nickname for him.
"You really think I'm hot, huh?" he loosely took her hand and played with her fingers, looking down at their hands and not meeting her eyes just yet. He looked up at her as she mentioned his aunt.
"You think so?" he said lightly, then nodded.
"Yes.. I think she played them all at Hogwarts.. but Keeper was her position when she played for the Macaws." He almost wished she still played. They got to see a lot more games when she did.
He shook his head a bit as he looked back to the trophies. He knew he wasn't that good.. then his eyes snapped back to hers as he heard the hesitation in her voice, feeling sad that she had such a fear of something he loved so much. He hoped he could help her get over it somehow.
"I think I'll stick with my original plans.." he said, giving her a little smile, then searching the Slytherin trophies again.
"No.." he said, looking back at her. He didn't really think he'd find his mother's name, though he had to admit it might have been cool to see.
"Quidditch wasn't really her thing though.. maybe it'll come up somewhere else.."
