Still feeling rather cold, Asher wrapped his robes around him even tighter and hoped he wouldn't freeze to death before he accomplished his task with the tree.

He pulled the bag of bark shavings out of his pocket and gently sprinkled them around the base of his tree, Oakley. After he sprinkled every last bit of bark out of his pouch, he decided to dig an hole and place the pouch inside. Just to be sure all the bits were left for the tree.

After covering the pouch up and filling in the hole completely, Asher pulled out his song and prepared himself to sing the thank you song to the tree.
