"Do you like being Quidditch Captain? Do you ever find it tedious?" asked Jo wondering how in the world Alice must have felt with all of that responsibility on her shoulders like a ten pound weight.
The Slytherin smiled weakly when Alice mentioned that she did look familiar. Jo nodded, thrilled that Alice remembered. "Alice! That's it. It's nice to meet you again, Alice.. I'm Jo," she offered with a rare grin. The grin fell of her face when Alice asked if she had any snacks. Snacks? Ummm.... Jo picked up her bag and began to rummage through it. "I don't believe soo....." began the girl until she found two bags of pretzels that she had packed this morning before leaving her dorm. She picked one of the bags up and hid the other. She'd save those pretzels for later. "I have a bag of pretzels, if you want?" offered the Snake.
Congrats?
"I have been for like.. two years." Where had this girl been?
"Um.. tedious? Not really. It's fun. I get to blow a whistle. And yell at people. And play Quidditch." So win-win-win situation, really. Apart from the responsibility people expected her to have, which.. she didn't.
"'Sup, Jo." Alice perked up eagerly when she unearthed the pretzels.
"I do, yep, thanks." She grabbed for the bag eagerly and ripped them open, tugging a couple of pretzels out in tossing them in her mouth. Jo would have been offered some but no talking with the mouth full, see? Manners. She had them.
Finally, she swallowed.
"Want some?" Of her own pretzels. Yeah.
