Eliza smiled at Sarah as she told her about her hand, and she took notes. Once she'd finished, Sarah hopped up and brought back the supplies with her for them to move onto the stamping part. "Thanks Sarah, that was nice of you!" she said happily once she returned. "Yeah, I've stamped some things before but never my whole hand. I imagine it's not much different from making palm prints with paint though right?" She rolled up her sleeves, pressed the ink to the rubber, her hand to the inked rubber, and then her hand to the piece of glass. "Voila!" she said, holding up the glass to show her imprint.
She studied it for a few moments and then glanced at her hands. It was weird because...we left heart line was a little different than her right heart line, but Elwood had said for girls to read their right, so that's what she did. "Looks like my heart line starts under my middle finger, but it doesn't reach it. About an inch down from it...." She followed the line on her palm. "And it has a pretty sharp curve, like almost a perfect circular edge and then it straightens back out and goes all the way to the edge of my hand." It was sort of interesting. "How about yours?"
While she let Sarah stamp and investigate her own hand, she took her notes and read the descriptions. "Oh...well I don't much like what it says about me, but maybe it's wrong, at least partially." She was supposed to let Sarah interpret her hand though, so she stopped reading ahead and waited for Sarah to tell Eliza about her heart line. Then Eliza could read to Sarah what the descriptions said about Sarah's heart line.
Glad that Eliza(Sarah quite liked the name... she also had in in her family) knew what to do, Sarah watched as the girl printed her hand on glass. Sarah examined the glass while Eliza described the results. It matched. "
Well... as it starts under your middle finger it supposedly means that you are selfish when it comes to love... I don't about this curve thing" Sarah pointed...
"what is the difference between wavy and curly?" she asked...
"because either it means that you are open about yourself and feelings or it means that you have a lot of lovers and no serious relationships", Sarah doubted the latter. This was confusing and all rubbish.
Then Sarah placed her palm on the ink pad and pressed down, feeling the spongey surface then she lifted her palm and placed it on the glass. She looked at the long and curvy line that started just under her index finger. She would probably mess up on interpretating it, so she turned to Eliza "
what can you see in mine?"
