Sometimes it almost felt like Cat had never even left home at all. She was close enough to the kitchen to where she was in there pretty much most of her free time. Except, well, at Hogwarts she didn't have four brothers wandering about the kitchen and trying to steal her food. In fact, that was where she had just emerged from. She had just finished a fresh batch of cupcakes and was trying to figure out the best way to smuggle them into the common room without having a mob of hungry Slytherins following her.
As it were, people could probably smell her coming from way down the corridor. Oh well. At least the place smelled like cupcakes, right? |
