Eliza's eyes widened when she heard herself actually being called up in front of the seminar. She had kind of been bluffing, but she would do her best now anyway. She stood slowly and went by Cassia to watch her first. Her shield was pretty good! She liked the color of it, reminded her of blue moon...er... Quick, think of a spell to show! She wanted to get this over with, so she met eyes with Laura to let her know her spell would be coming for her, so she could shield herself or duck or whatever. That way, she could show a spell and then if Laura was quick enough...she could too.
Left hand raised, she pointed her wand at the Hufflepuff and let the incantation dash from her mouth. "Expelliarmus!" Could she slink back behind someone now and not have all of these eyes on her spellwork?
Laura had been surprised when the Professor had chose her and was a bit nervous but then she saw the look on her best friend Ella face, she seemed to be smiling which Laura liked and so she smiled back at her friend, she was going to do her best now just to make Ella proud.
Laura turned back and saw the look on Eliza's face, she knew that look anyway, Laura grabbed her wand out of her pocket and as soon as she heard Eliza start to use the disarming spell, Laura shouted. ""Protego!!" Laura watched as Eliza's spell bounced of her shield, she smiled at Eliza, how did her friend know she wanted this done quickly.
