Ivy watched the young student run off to join his classmates. And not a moment later, she heard her name uttered by a familiar face. Pleased as she was to see him, Ivy kept her smiling to a minimum.
"Mr. Vinteren," she replied with a nod and a glance his way. Then she looked up at the sky. "It's alright." Still a bit too chilly for her preference, but it would do.
After a moment, she looked back over at Erik, suddenly discovering the need to stop her smile from growing. "How are you?"
Just alright? Ivy must not have liked that slight chill in the air that Erik was too accustomed to to notice.
"I'm doing fine," Erik shrugged non-committally.
"Haff you tried any of vhe prefect's events today?" He was curious to see his fellow governor at this silly little event for children. But he was also sure she had her reasons for being here, as did he.
His gaze trailed toward the forest with that thought before returning to Ivy.
