Always Lovers Never Friends


Talthybius Riddle, the son of Bellatrix Lestrange . Bellatrix never revealed a father and the question is still unanswered. Talthybius was given up by his mother when he was only 2 and grew up in the Ministry of Magic Orphanage. Even though he grew up away from his parents he inherited all of their traits and became the splitting image of his father.

Sammy Rydinger, the unknown daughter of Barty Crouch Jr. Being given to muggle parents she grew up outside of the wizarding world. At age 7 she ran away from home was picked up by the Knight Bus and brought to the Ministry of Magic Orphanage. She met Talthybius there, he was a two years older than her, and they didn’t get along at first.

At school the two stuck together, being the outsiders there was no one else. They didn’t know who their parents were and that put into question their blood status. Talthybius and Sammy have always had chemistry they tried dating in her 2nd year but it ended badly. But now she is in 5th year and he is in 6th year (he was held back one year) and they are trying again. They can’t seem to stay away from each other.




Chapter 1

Sammy walked onto platform 9 ¾. The car had dropped her off early and Grayham had pushed her cart onto the platform. She could have done it herself but she felt that she shouldn’t have to stoop so low. He put her trunk on the train and she waved as he went back to the car. Sammy took a seat on the train and settled in for a long wait and then an even longer train ride. The summer had been uneventful. Talthybius was off with some friends in Scotland. Sammy rolled her eyes as she thought about Talthybius, he was the only person she ever really knew. Her parents didn’t exist and she grew up alone. Except for Talthybius, he was there. Sammy closed her eyes and leaned her head back. She took a deep breath as she heard the door to the compartment slide open.
“I knew I would find you back here,” said a male voice.
“Go away,” Sammy said.
Sammy felt the voice move closer. And felt someone’s breath on her cheek.
“You don’t want me to go away.”
Sammy opened her eyes and stared at the owner of the voice.
“Go away Talthybius.”
“Only if you say it again,” Talthybius said and pressed his lips to the hollow behind her ear.
Sammy just looked at Talthybius and took a deep breath, “Go away.”
Talthybius stood up quickly. “What is your problem Sam?”
“You don’t listen well do you?” Sammy said and stood up. She shook her head and walked out of the compartment letting the door slide shut behind her.
“Whatever,” Talthybius mumbled to himself and took a seat as the train began to move. “She’ll come around.”
