I am new since i just got the job out of college but it is a nice place to meet people such as yourself." she said nodding towards Rowan. She wanted to seem civil.

Then he asked how she was. Maybe he wasn't so social after all? He was good keeping the conversation going so far. Jazz smiled and chuckled. "I am doing well Rowan other than dealing with a new surrounding like this ministry." Why was she revealing that info? Maybe she could trust him? Or maybe he was an antisocial dingbat that wouldn't squeal anything out. Yeah we will go with the third option.

"What is life life in the law enforcement part of the ministry?"She wanted to know what life was like outside her department. Plus she wanted to ask the questions now. Since he couldn't handle it, it seemed.
He gave a small nod, "It's my third year here... Second working in Security." He nodded, "It's better than the maintenance department I was in my first year."

"It can take a while to get use to the ministry." He admitted, "But it is nice so long as you have someone to chat with... Or in my case have someone who irritates the living daylights out of you." He chuckled, "My wife had also worked in law enforcement until she and I had our son Landon." He smiled, "Though, she was obviously the nice one... Lazar moved a couple years back... Actually worked in your department, and let's just say with my father's blood, I'm not a good person to irritate." Hey, he had the Irish temper, only he didn't fight, he played jokes, and got even by making you humiliate yourself with a few of his charms.

Rowan shrugged to her question, "It's definitely not the most relaxing or fun job." That all he could say, "Like I said, it beats being part of maintenance."
