Aww look, she was looking at him now. Good. All was right with the world because his face, his handsome face was up here, which she should have been looking at. Pfft. So now that she was looking at him Ascanius felt better, yeah? Also, he was smirking a lot for reasons.

Reasons that included but did not exclude the fact that she was short. And that amused him for some reason.

But the smirk was gone as quickly as it came and was replaced with a glare. A glare that to everyone else in the room probably looked like he was just being a jerk, which was slightly true. Yet, he didn't stop it. Not at all.

"That is...true. Still not going out there, though." 'Cause people would think he was dancing and she knew that. Penelope HAD to know that, right? So he wasn't going out there. Loitering worked just well for him. Thanks.
