There might have been people in the past and Tobias just didn't know, but it obviously wasn't a common occurance if so. "I kind of panicked at first if maybe I was a squib like my parents," he admitted kind of shyly. That was something he hadn't really voiced to anyone before. "But then I realised it was just the same kind of trouble everyone probably has at first. And it's probably difficult because it's hard to stay focused." Nod nod.

"I only really know Hufflepuffs. Though I kinda met the other teams after the games so, actually, I think that counts too." Beam. He'd met so many people, really. Oh, Forrest had seen the game? Awesome! "It really was cool. And the best part about playing Keeper is that for like half of the game I can just watch too so I know more about what's going on." PLUS last time he'd been free to actually listen to the commentary and it had been really entertaining.

He rolled and rollllled and rolllllllllllllled the snow and eventually Tobias realised just how big it was already getting. The top of the snowball already reached Tobias' waist... that was pretty cool! He rolled it a little further and stopped. "Does this seem like a decent place to keep the snowman?" he asked Forrest, looking around at him. If he agreed then Tobias would start making it steady.

"Yeah, yeah! That's their names," Tobias nodded eagerly. He really wasn't good with names... maybe he should work on that. Hmmmm... the old one? "Oh, do you mean, erm..." the boy screwed up his face slightly in concentration, clicking his gloved fingers as though it would help him place the name. "Uhhh... Botros?" That sounded right? Or there could have been a different older professor.

His favourite lesson? Tobias tilted his head slightly, staring at the treehouse in thought. Hmmmm. He supposed quidditch wasn't really a class per se, and Arithmancy confused the heck out of him, and some of them were just difficult. "I think I agree with you. I love all the moving about in Astronomy, and the vacuum game was super fun. And that Defence Against the Dark Arts class the other day was awesome. You know... the one about legomancy? With the legopuffs?"

Forrest knew the one, right?

Forrest completely stopped every muscle activity, including breathing, and just looked at Tobias. So he wasn't the only one that failed in magic. He still thought Tobias was better than him, but still... there was still hope that mudbloods could be equally well with purebloods at magic. It was rude to smile at others' failures, but he couldn't hold back a hint of smile.

"Did you--" he gulped as his face grew paler with what he was going to ask. He had already decided against asking it to a professor since they were bound to lie about it not to hurt him, but he trusted Tobias to be honest. He wasn't sure whether he wanted to hear the response, but it was a now-or-never kind of situation, and on a whim he asked it at last.

"Arepurebloodsbetterthanmudbloods?" He took a deep breath. Had it just got colder here? "A--at m--magic, I mean." His eyes were the size of the moon and he held his breath.

Oh so he could watch the game. Forrest vacillated whether he should admit he spent half of his time looking at Alice and the other half examining the stands, but that would be admitting he was a coward, so... there was just one thing that had been bugging him ever since he learnt the rules.

"Aren't you afraid of bludgers?" Being the bluntest at asking stuff, yeah. And he did some more rolling not to stare and look like a chicken about it. He shivered visibly though upon remembering Ella's state when a bludger hit her. Nearly fell off her broom... And it was just an enchanted stick! What happened if it ran out of charm, hmm? Quidditch. He'd rather die than play it, because it would kill him anyways.

He shrugged. "Yeah, I suppose." What did HE know about snowmans? It was Tobias' specialty. He looked at his balls size and then eyed his. It was smaller than it, but he'd stopped rolling already because he'd seen it in cartoons that it got smaller to the top. Right?

Hopefully.

Botros? He shrugged. "He didn't tell us his name." He had been far too busy punishing Sonea. Hehe.

Legomancy. Forrest giggled. "Yes, I know." Who didn't? "Reckon it's too hard? I mean, it'd be cool to just stare in the eye and know it all." Surely when he was like in fifth class or something he would manage to do it?
