Grabbing his ice cream container again, Jory sat back. "You don't have to thank me,'' he told Ronnie with a smile. "I'm just glad I could make you feel better. Even if it's a little bit.'' Because it practically tore him up too, seeing her sad like that.
Laughing, she nodded.
"Yes, I did bake them and you can eat them. I'd be more than happy to make you more anytime you want!" she said, beaming. It was true. Ronnie loved cooking and did it whenever she could
(and whenever she had the ingredients too of course). She could never get tired of it. Ever!
She smiled warmly at him, and leaned over to kiss his cheek before grabbing her container of ice cream as well. As she began to take little bites, she looked at Jory thoughtfully. A smile spread across her face.
"So, Jory," she began.
"What's the most embarrassing moment you've ever had in your life?" she asked, smirking. This was a question she asked most people...as in, her close friends and family of course. It was always funny seeing what they had to say, and how red their faces got.
