"That's how they play. With the bludgers and stuff, yeah. This was actually a pretty clean game, people crack ribs and pass out and break noses and stuff sometimes." Wait, no, she wasn't meant to be scaring him more.
"But.. like.. it's also.. um.. candy?" Alice offered him another jelly slug, trying to think of a way to kind of mull over all the horrible stuff she'd just informed him of.
