After handing over her money to the turnstile - stuuuupid things - and pushing her way into the hall, she scuffed her feet as she started to walk towards the Slytherin table. She wasn't really paying much attention, so when her foot got caught in her robes she didn't really notice and she stumbled, dropping the transfiguration book she'd been carrying and falling to her knees. (Not on her face this time. This was progress.) It was her own fault for letting the hem of her robes down because they were starting to show off her ankles. She'd apparently let them out a little too much. Sigh.

There were so many turnstiles and not much of her Oakey money left, which meant she was going to go broke soon. Could she con more galleons out of him, maybe? Those puppy eyes of Alice's worked wonders on the Head Boy every time, really. And she had no shame in using them on him. He wasn't using those coins, the least he could do was share with poor lil' Gryffindors, yes?

"You're on the ground," she pointed out to another girl on her knees as she started toward her table. "Are you meant to be down there?" Alice momentarily considered offering a hand to help her up, but she probably WAS supposed to be on the floor, so she took a seat next to her.
