She believed that some other animals were not smart enough to not recognize their own babies, but Little princess was much better than a NORMAL animal from a NORMAL, idiotic student! So no, Sonea REFUSED to believe that Little princess wouldn’t care about her babies or that she would not know that the babies were hers!

“Only one? But… But..” she wanted to say that Little princess would be sad if she would be separated with her babies, but she didn’t say it to the professor, she already knew how the professor would respond to her.

“I think that I will search for a new pet owner, I want to talk with the person who want to take care of the babies because I want to make sure that the babies from Little princess would be happy and safe… Maybe I can write a note and ask if the prefects from the other houses will hung it in their common rooms…" The second year old didn’t liked it to give the babies away but she knew that it would not be a good idea to protest to the professor.
