Taylor smiled as she danced and twirled down to the front gate. She was happy that she had gotten new clothes for the holiday and that it was back to class time. Tay was starting to come out of her shell that she had made over the summer. She had stopped avoiding people and was starting to feel better. Taylor flopped down on the ground after pulling out a small blanket. She didnt want to stain her white leggings. Tay stretched on on her stomach and took out her drawing book. Taylor looked into her bag and debated what utensil to use... there was pencils, pens, ink, paint, pastels, chalk, charcoal... She sighed and debated before pulling out the charcoal. Tay looked up and looked around, trying to find what to draw when her eyes landed on how pretty the gate really was. Taylor was determined to draw the scene of the gates as well as what was behind the gates that they blocked out. Tay made sure the charcoal was ready to draw with and once she was satisfied with it, she gently put the piece on the paper. Taylor blocked out everything that was going on around her as she delicately drew the multiple lines. She bit her tongue gently as she put all of her focus on getting every last detail right. Taylor occasionally looked up at the scene then right back down to the paper, imagining the lines and the proportions so that she can get the picture just right. She put all of her energy into her drawings and this one wasnt an exception. Tay didnt mind that she had forgotten her coat. She didnt even realize how cold she was since her mind tuned it out along with every noise.
