Laura looked at Ethan and smiled. "I Ethan" Laura was still trying to keep her thoughts to herself, but she was still a bit scared about what she had just seen. "Spirit Revel" Laura said pointing her wand at the floor but nothing happened, what was she doing wrong.
Ethan stood staring, almost frozen to the spot, watching the green outline till it slowly started to fade. Until a scream from behind him startled the boy and made his head whip around, his eyes wide.
"Merlin, Laura.. you scared me.." That was all he needed.. to be thinking of how this boy met his demise then to have someone scream at the same time. It was bone-chilling. Besides.. she knew this was the library, right? No loud noises and such.
He glanced back to the spot where he had seen the spell work only to find that the green outline had completely faded. Good thing too.. since it appeared Laura was casting the spell.. or at least attempting to. She was a fifth year, right? How was she ever going to pass her OWLs?
"No.." he started, shaking his head a little.
"The incantation is Spiritum Revelio.. and the wand movement is a counterclockwise circle, then point the wand through the circle." He waited for her to try it again.
"So, I take it you're working on your History of Magic homework, too?" Well, Ethan hoped.. or else it was a pretty morbid spell to just randomly going around casting.
"I just started if you want to work together.." He still had a few more places to go and wasn't sure how close to finishing the girl was.. but it might make things go a little faster if he had some company. He wasn't all that keen on doing this particular homework in the first place.
