Great, now this assignment was costing him MONEY. They should get reimbursed. Or extra house points for spending pocket money. Something.
He paused at the doorway and eyed the room as a whole. Where was the most likely spot for someone to have died in this room? If a wounded person had been dragged through this door and put on one of the tables... but the whole room was filled with tables. Then again, there'd been an epic battle in the middle of the room between Death Eaters and the castle defenders. He walked between the lines of tables until he was about in the center of the room and pointed his wand.
"Spiritum Revelio." Nothing. The room was huge... what had he been expecting? Grumbling to herself about pricey homework, Elodie surveyed the hall around them, not even knowing where to begin. There were so many places that their task could involve, especially as this room in specific was huge. There were tables, there were corners, there was by the door, and there was the other end of the hall where speeches were given and all sorts. The possibilities made her regret coming in here, but they were here now so might aswell go hunting.
If she was a dead person, where would she die?
Oh what a pathetic question, she told herself with a shake of her head as she headed around the edge of the Great Hall to the right. She was going to try the corner, because that was where she would probably end up dead, in all honesty. She'd probably get cornered by something and just die, or fall and hit her head there and bleed out, or something entirely horrible. Either way, thinking about her death was wrong. "Spiritum Revelio," accompanied by the wand movement, she found nothing in the corner. People were apparently not like Elodie in their moments of death.
She cast a look over at Mo to see that he too had uncovered nothing, and she continued around the edge, heading toward the dias at the front. Not toward the dias directly, but to the area between the dias and the house tables. From what she'd read, the wounded and the dead were gathered around this end of the Great Hall in the Battle of Hogwarts, probably to avoid the door for new retrievals or whatever. Pointing her wand once more in the general direction of there, she spoke a little more clearly than she had on her previous three attempts. "Spiritum Revelio." Success! Or, whatever it could be deemed. Els smiled as the visibility of a green human outline came to view just in front of the dias. .....No comment, poor soul.
