“Aw come on Padfoot, you have to try” James tried to convince his friend, noticing how he’d gone into a bit of a daze, staring off at Eleanor again.
“She doesn’t care” the pureblood replied nonchalantly, adding a shrug to make it seem that he didn’t care at all.
“You’ve fancied her for months, all of us know it... you know what mate? I dare you to try your luck, see if you actually can get her” he finally challenged, smirking. He knew Padfoot would take the challenge, and it would finally encourage him to try and get his girl.
