Elise wasn't actually on the dance floor because she particularly wanted to dance. No, that wasn't it at all. She just happened to enjoy the music these lovely elderly gentlemen were playing and wanted to be as near them as she could. She had a good view too, since she decided to hang around the edges of the floor and had fewer heads to see past.
So there she was, swaying slightly between her feet with a whimsical smile on her face and totally and completely oblivious to the world. That was okay, though. Nobody was going to ask her to dance with them, anyway. Elise wasn't that popular. She didn't seem to care either, she was more bothered by whether or not the band might play
their song and fiddling with one of her ever-present scarves.
