Oh! Oh! Kendall is here. Aquila beamed at the upperclassman joining her, and listened to how she pronounced those two spells. Merlin she makes it sound so easy. Alohamora will probably be easier, but that locking spell she will obviously trip all over with.

"Today you will be learning how to cast the Intruder Charm on one of the doors in this room. No, they don't lead anywhere. They are simply, empty doors. If you don't have a partner, find one now. You and your partner will practice together the incantation and then one of you will cast the Intruder Charm on the door. Once you feel it is sufficient, your partner will walk through the door, and if the alarm goes off, you will have succeeded. You will then remove the charm with Finite Incantatem and your partner will repeat those steps and you will walk through their charmed door. Understood?" Ivy looked around at her students to make sure they understood her directions, or if they had questions.

"Get to work then!"

OOC: I want at least THREE posts per STUDENT for this activity. Feel free to use more, but you won't get extra points. (;

You have at least 22 hours to do this. If Peeves keeps this up, I'll give you a little extra time. I'm not going to do a demonstration, just because Peeves is taking up a lot of time and I want to leave as much time for you guys as possible! It's fairly self explanatory though, so good luck! If you have any questions, PM me or ask Professor Knox. =)

Between seeing it written and listening to everyone around them, they shouldn’t forget. “In-tru-dus Con-cu-tio,” she said slowly, sounding it out before she tried to say it any quicker. As it was, it sounded even weirder all dragged out, so after a moment she repeated herself, saying it quicker. “Intrudus Concutio.” Now that that was settled, she quietly traced her wand around the doorframe without speaking. She didn’t want to accidentally cast the charm before Aquila got to practice.

BUT it doesn’t look like they were going to do those spells, as the Professor just said they were going to go with alarm detection. Well yes useful. If she cant lock her own doors with magic at least she can make it make a lot of noise.

She watched the Professor’s demo and realized... its even more difficult than the opening and locking spell combined. She turned her attention to Kendall and drew her wand slowly, saying the incantation a few seconds behind her fellow Claw “In-tro-duz Con-cu-tiow..... In-tru-dus Con-cu-tio..... Intrudus Concutio.” Did that sound right? She hoped so.

“Show me how it goes Kendall. Try it on the door.” The young one whispered shyly to the upperclassman. Kendall had better skills than her and she needs all the help to make sure she does this spell right.
