Oooh the Shopkeeper looked nice. She might have winked. Maybe, okay she fail-winked but she winked none the less.
“Hello…” she beamed at the shopkeep, and glanced over to Chord, “So Applebee what do you want?” It was clear that she wanted French friends since they were FREEEEE! Okay so she might have used a slightly more flirty voice when asking.
Turning back to the Shopkeeper she just beamed, and then leaned to see the menu a little better. “What do you suggest, love?” She asked in a very, very confident bravado. What? The shopkeeper was attractive – and so was Chord but that was another story yeah? Right now she was talking to the shopkeeper.
"Yes, that," Chord agreed, laughing too as they crossed the threshold of the pizza parlor. He noticed that they were both rather talkative actually, though he didn't have a chance to point that out in between Kyle's laughing and talking. He was okay with listening for now though. She was all right to listen to.
He perked up as they stepped up to the counter. "She remembered that plan?! We were all talk and no action, it seems... I'd still like to write the article though, even if she's not game for it." And there was a string of words he never thought he'd say. Him, write? As for employment? And not write a song??!
Man, maybe Chord was growing up. Weird. And to think, he'd even risen before 11 am today. He shook his head slowly and shot a glance to the shopkeeper. Eh, not a hot chick. He'd let Kyle handle this one, and turned his back on the counter to rest his elbows on it backwards-like.
Oh wait he had to order something. "Um, I'll have whatever you're having." Shrug. Food was food, so long as it was good. "They got nachos here?" he added after a lazy second of thinking of foods that went well with cheese.
And was she flirting with the shopkeeper or was that just him? Pft not that Chord cared. He kept his eyes straight ahead on the bowlers, not on the boring shopkeeper anyway.
