Cat hadn't expected to spend so much money IN school. She'd started to run through her reserves about a month before she went home for the holidays. Luckily enough, she had a very large family. Large families always meant lots of presents, but she also ended up getting cold hard cash from half of her uncles (who had no idea what a teenage girl liked) and her aunts Serafina and Delilah (who were just no good at shopping). She was glad to be in Honeydukes with a fresh store of coins.

She was even more glad that Blue was going with her. She grinned at the other girl as she bounced carefully down an aisle. "So how was your holiday, hmm? Did ya do anything super fun?" Like pelt your ~~favorite~~ cousin and West with snowballs? Hmmmm? That had been SUPER FUN.
