She held her nose up in a haughty manner and continued her work with the plants. Hold on, had the girl just said something about stealing gems?! The redhead's eyebrows went up and she withdrew her hand from the tank to turn around and slowly stare at the girl.

"Did you just say you stole some of the house gems?" She ignored her dripping glove and stared at the other girl that was there, the one suspiciously interested in water lilies. "Did you have anything do with that?!" ACCOMPLICE!!!

Say what now? Lex tilted her head and gave the woman a curious look. "How can he not like making friends? Is he defective? I think you can return him if you had a good warranty on him." Shame people didn't work like that. Lex found herself giggling at the woman's cat defense. "O'course he's fat, he looks so squishy and plushy and lovable--can I hug him sometime??? Pleeeease??" If she wouldn't let her touch her hair then surely she would let her hug her cat, or was he fake too?

The water plants greenhouse...? Blink. Blink. Oooooooohhhh "Cool!--Hmmm?" Water lilies? Lex followed the girls pointing and found the source of her excitement but before she could start bouncing too the Headmistress was giving her looks and getting a tone with her.

"I didn't." She corrected, giving the woman a wide-eyed look. "I said if I did, you'd be the last to know." And really with the looks she was giving her, was it any wonder why???? "Stealing any would have been dangerous Headmistress; that goblin had a sword!!!" A really neat looking one that didn't stop her from getting everything but the emeralds but shhhhh. "So you see, taking them would have been risky work." Nodnodnod "--Oh and wrong!!' Because morals were supposedly important, yeah? "Taking them would also be wrong." Solemn nod.

“You have a cat named Gingersnapple?” she giggled all amused. So maybe the Headmistress didn’t seem half as scary anymore. Well no not really, she was still scary to the young Claw BUT having a cat named Gingersnapple makes a difference, at least to her. And with soulful bright eyes she peered up at the Headmistress and murmured “Can I see him?” Specially if this cat was ~~fat~~ fluffy.

But now Headmistress got all upset. Something about what Lex said with the gems and she shifted her head between she of the red-hair and she of the red robes. “What gems?...... Oh! Those gems....” now she remembers, although she doesn’t quite remember Lex stealing them, but now the Gryffindor was saying something about it being wrong. Perplexed look coming from this Ravenclaw. She saw Lex save them because they belonged to Hogwarts. But before she can react to anything the Headmistress was glaring them down. “N-No.... I didn’t take anything Headmistress.” she squeaked. “I was just....” being held like a sack of potatoes by Mo? “.... crying. Because that ugly elf had a sword and he broke stuff.” And that made her very sad.

.......... “Headmistress, why did you let the ugly elf take stuff that belongs to us?”
