Like they had their own little congregation.” She has absolutely no idea if she’s contributing to this convo at all, which typically happens when she only understands half of what was said. “I wish I brought my cat.” Yeah homesick talking there.

She turned her attention to Lex, and this time it was her turn to tilt her head in wonder “Where we are? We’re.... we’re at the water plants greenhouse.” At least that’s what she calls this place. She bounced on the balls of her feet as she pointed at the shallow pool she was sitting by earlier “Look Lex! Water lilies!” she whispered in excitement. Simple joys this one.

So Aquila was the name of the other girl in the greenhouse. Mhmmmm.... She held her nose up in a haughty manner and continued her work with the plants. Hold on, had the girl just said something about stealing gems?! The redhead's eyebrows went up and she withdrew her hand from the tank to turn around and slowly stare at the girl.

"Did you just say you stole some of the house gems?" She ignored her dripping glove and stared at the other girl that was there, the one suspiciously interested in water lilies. "Did you have anything do with that?!" ACCOMPLICE!!!

Ah would you look at that? Even Aquila was confirming that feline theory. Gosh, their pets would be BFFs in no time. She could already see it. Taking them for walks together, eating cookies while they cleaned themselves, chasing them through the owlery. Soooooooooooo many prettiful possibilities! "You really should have brought yours as well! They could ALL be BFFs!!" EEEEEeeeep!!! The idea had her bouncing.

Yay! She did take the cat with her!!! Let the planning begi--

Say what now? Lex tilted her head and gave the woman a curious look. "How can he not like making friends? Is he defective? I think you can return him if you had a good warranty on him." Shame people didn't work like that. Lex found herself giggling at the woman's cat defense. "O'course he's fat, he looks so squishy and plushy and lovable--can I hug him sometime??? Pleeeease??" If she wouldn't let her touch her hair then surely she would let her hug her cat, or was he fake too?

The water plants greenhouse...? Blink. Blink. Oooooooohhhh "Cool!--Hmmm?" Water lilies? Lex followed the girls pointing and found the source of her excitement but before she could start bouncing too the Headmistress was giving her looks and getting a tone with her.

"I didn't." She corrected, giving the woman a wide-eyed look. "I said if I did, you'd be the last to know." And really with the looks she was giving her, was it any wonder why???? "Stealing any would have been dangerous Headmistress; that goblin had a sword!!!" A really neat looking one that didn't stop her from getting everything but the emeralds but shhhhh. "So you see, taking them would have been risky work." Nodnodnod "--Oh and wrong!!' Because morals were supposedly important, yeah? "Taking them would also be wrong." Solemn nod.
