A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
It had been a few weeks after Daichi had accidentally used an non-verbal spell by accident during an homework assignment and he really wanted to try it again. This was why he entered the dueling arena in order to practise his spells nonverbally. Plus he could use this as his DADA year long log thing.
The Slytherin looked around the room and immediately took in the platform where the students could duel. But since he was alone he past the platform and went to the back of the room.
Here he found the dummies that were used for practising and with the use of his hands he dragged one of them forward to practise on. Before coming here, Daichi had read about nonverbal spells and how they were casted so he hoped it would go as easy as it had been written.
Placing his school bag to the side of the wall, the Prefect took out his spell book and flipped through the pages. He closed his eyes and pointed his finger to a random spell. Deprimo. A very powerful wind that blasts holes in things. Sounded cool!
But before he would try it non-verbally he wanted to try it the spell verbally. Taking out his wand from his wrist holster, Daichi pointed it at the dummy in front of him and took a deep breath to concentrate himself. "Deprimo!" He shouted and slashed his wand to the dummy.
To his big surprise, a gush of wind did come out of his wand but it wasn't strong. Better than nothing , right? "Deprimo!" he casted again and this time the dummy rolled backwards by the effect of the strong wind and hit the wall. But there was no hole in the dummy itself.
With a frustrated sigh, Daichi shouted "DEPRIMO!" and BAAAANG! the dummy against the wall now had a hole in its stomach. *PROUD GRIN~* Now he totally wanted to try this spell non-verbally!
