Bowl of ice-cream in hand, Lex went walking in search of the perfect classroom for their little meeting. She and Peyton had plans to make and they weren't about to make them out in the corridor where just anyone could hear them. No thanks.
Every now and then she checked to ensure that the girl was still following her before getting lost in her ice-cream again as they walked.
It wasn't that the rooms were being used but more that they needed the PERFECT one! Ice-cream world take over plans didn't just happen anywhere you set up camp you know! Serious consideration had to be put into it--oh hey that one looked good!! "FOUND ONE!!!" Lex looked to her with a BEAM before slipping into the empty classroom.
It was empty? Yes?
She'd check using that spell Mr. Vinteren had shown her. "Homenum Revelio!" And she waited. When it didn't pick up anyone she beamed again. "Okay! Close the door so we can begin!!!!" And with that she propped herself up on the table meant for the Professor and sat with her legs folded. This was actually quite comfy!
This was going to be fun. It so was. Bound to be. She bet it was even written in the stars to
be fun.
Peyton followed Lex down whatever corridor they were walking in, her eyes cast down on the bowl in her hand. Raspberry-vanilla AND a smaaaaaall amount of chocolate ice cream. Peyton wasn't a fan of chocolate, but this was ice cream. And ice cream was ice cream.
She did not pay attention when Lex stopped and almost collided with the girl, but of course, saving her
ice cream Peyton held the bowl over head. There was NO way she was going to drop it. Nope.
"Fiiiiinally," Peyton exhaled as if they've been walking for ages.
"I thought we'd end up in the owlery." Which would have been smelly. She scampered toward the desk at the front where Lex propped herself on and tossed her bag over it, then hopped on it, her legs swinging at the edge.
"So, I was thinking that shoving ice cream down people's throat should be left for last," she said.
"You know, as a back up in case our first plans don't work." Which would totally work. Come on. It was a Slytherin and a Gryffindor working together. What better combination? There was cunning and bravery, excellent combo.
