Back to food, though. "Thanks." She immediately started on the rice, mixing it together with the chicken and beginning to eat it, talking around it still in the most ladylike manner as possible. "I still don't have issues talking about feelings, though. Just so you know. I can talk about them any time I want to." Not that she wanted to, but Alice could. Really.
"Not yet, but I'll let you know," Mo saluted generally in her direction. It wasn't like Alice needed magic for herself, but he'd keep her in the loop so she wouldn't sit around thinking he was mooning over her. It just so happened that Mo had a life. It was small, but it was his. Alice got a side eye before Mo shrugged.
"So now we've discovered that I should be a world famous chef. What else should I attempt? Soup? Buttered toast? I don't want to over tax my skills, so maybe buttered bread to start, and then I can work up to dry toast." He grinned at her over his glass of lemonade because MERLIN hot food is HOT.
She got another side eye, since she was apparently circling back around to talking about feelings. "Any feelings in particular you want to talk about at the moment, or are you just open to feeling-talk in general?"
