Well she had thought it was a valid question anyway. She was a little saddened by how angry he got for her asking, especially after seeing him jump up and on and be so excited for everyone else. It was a good question! But at least he gave her an answer. She did appreciate that much. But hey...he didn't add the hydrus to the list like I said! Does that mean it's wrong? She wanted to ask but didn't want to bother him any further, so she let it go, because they were going to TURN THEIR EYES INTO TELESCOPES-WHAT?!
This was beyond exciting. She could use this any time now! But that thought made her worry. So...won't all these boys be using their telescope eyes to spy on the girls now? She looked around at all of them suspiciously. Well, no one was going to look at her anyway, but she did want to keep a look out for her friends' privacy. She'd be vigilant about this. Having telescope eyes might help her out in other places too - like if she really could get some people who wanted to go on a nature walk or something, to somewhere. Hmmmm...
She went and stood about fifteen or so paces from the chart and tried to read it without the spell. It wasn't all that hard except for the bottom few lines. Her eyesight was pretty good actually, so maybe she'd have to back up more. She went over the incantation in her mind before casting. Oculo ....Fo-ca-lis. Oculo Focalis, oculo focalis...
