Mika was nice, and Elodie needed more friends that were female, she barely had any of those.
She barely had friends, thinking about it. She just smiled to Elodie. ”Aw, that sounds great how old is your niece?” she asked smiling even if she was blinking a bit and thinking how old Elodie’s brother or sister had to be for her to have a niece at fourteen. ”Yeah I am heading out tonight I think?” she beamed over to Elodie. ”Its also the first Christmas in London this year – since…mum and dad found a place closer to work – and its got a great floo!”
When Elodie asked if the potion was dangerous – and then said they should be better friends she beamed even more. ”We should be, heck…I kind of went all quiet and weird last term…and didn’t keep up with friends enough” it was the truth – she might have had a lot of acquaintances but she didn’t have a lot of friends herself.
Right. She’d asked about the potion. ”No its not supposed to be – its like magical sparkly explosions of light – kind of like wand sparks?” she admitted with a smile. She’d gotten it out of the potions book – and it was the easier potion to make.
