Yes that was a vest... only it wasn't the right size. Too small and not quite the right shape either. He tried it on the gargoyle JUST to see if it worked, but the leaf vest -which was kind of a purple colour, ehh- tore a bit, and then turned back to a leaf. A torn leaf.

Alright. Try again. This time West eyed the gargoyle up and mentally took measure of it, trying to work out its size and the proportions the leaf vest would need to have.

"Folium induant!" West had a green vest in mind, and the size that he'd been thinking of, and he gently tapped the leaf. This time the colour was the right shade, a nice green that matched the tent, and the shape was definitely better.

West had to get it on the gargoyle now. He tried to maneuver it... but couldn't get it on around the stiff gargoyle and it tore again. Darnitttt

So... needed to do something different... he could either animate the gargoyle so it would move its limbs to better get into the vest... or he could try to transfigure the leaf around the gargoyle so that it was already on it.

He decided the second approach would be good, if that didn't work then he'd animate his gargoyle.

This time West put the leaf on the gargoyle's back, straightened it, and then looked it over, imagining how it would fit around the gargoyle to look all smart.

"Folium induant!" West focused and then tapped it gently.... YESSSSSS he watched as the leaf formed into a vest around his front legs and chest, flapping open at the front. The vest was green with a little sliver piping around its edges.

West was grinning now. LOVING how well this was working out for him.
