Practical part already. Okay. She could do this.

Penelope scribbled the spells down in her notes quickly and then drew her wand. Time to practice the first one. Circo Anulum.

"Cir-co Anulum. Circo An-u-lum. Circo Anu-lum. Circo Anulum. Circo Anulum." Yeah, there, she sorta had it down. It wasn't really too hard to pronounce, which was nice. Now just the wand movement.

So a circular movement of the hand...with the wrist not moving? And then a point. Hm. Okay...

Penelope tried it out but quickly realized she was moving her wrist too. Hm. Tricky. She tried a couple more times but she kept getting tempted to move her wrist instead of keep it steady. So she moved her eyes down to watch her wrist and moved her hand slowly in a circle, keeping an eye on her wrist until her hand came back around full circle. Good. There. Now to speed it up.

She repeated the motion but with a quicker pace, still keeping an eye on her wrist. Full circle, steady wrist. Good. Thank Merlin. She tried a little faster, still eyeing her wrist, and once more managed to keep it steady.

Oh. And point. Yes. But it was kinda doing that once she had finished the circle, yeah?

There. She was pretty sure she had that. Now she could try them together?
