His face lit up. Like, it suddenly lit the whole room. He knew this man was the coolest at school, and he was proven correct again by his disagreement with Professor Hadley. To avoid any disrespectful comment about her though, he just decided to drop her point of view and focus on how cool Professor Flamsteed was.

"D'you play video games or watch TV too?" he asked excitedly. It was GREAT to find someone who understood him at last. He wondered whether he was muggleborn too, but that would be rude to ask, probably, so... another time. Hopefully.

To him, all wizards were equals save for his pathetic magic ability so he didn't get what kind of a flattery his comparison was. He simply shrugged... and then frowned.

So those charms would fail.

Professor Airey, you don't know how obsessed this kid is.

He simply nodded as he digested and thought it over obviously. Apparently, it would be a pretty historic occasion when those charms failed. And he was right about dying to be a part of the history, so from this day on, he’d check on the bronze knocker once a week. He kept silent as he dreamt of being the one announcing they’d failed and all, but told nothing to the man in the end. Such things ought to be kept to himself, so… yeah. Silence and staring. Staring and silence

Would Professor Airey mind the silence and staring terribly?

Apparently he had either completely awed the boy or baffled him judging from the amount of silence. Thankfully, however, the man was used to such awkward pauses and had rather mastered them in his youth. Making adults uncomfortable had been his speciality. The only silences recently that unnerved him were those between him and Medea and him and Calista. Those were the unpleasant and seriously awkward sorts.

"OH! You mean those games that muggles watch on the magic box, right?" he asked. Oh, wait. The boy had answered that question for him already. "Oh yes yes yes. TV. Short for television, yes?" Airey's eyes lite up slightly. "I have one of those at home that I watch from time to time when I am not at Hogwarts. Pity that all the magical interference makes them not work. Suppose I could try to charm it to work..." But then again he really should not be thinking about such luxury items at a time like this.

SPOILER!!: *snooooooooooort*

So, rather quickly, she took out a piece of paper and muggle pencil (just because), and held up her index finger at the Professor. Yeah, she did say 'hold on'. Soon enough she started to write the useful spells she didn't know, rather quickly, too. She was focused, you see.

The girl was scribbling fast and turning pages real quick. Of course, she drew a few things instead of writing a long paragraph. She'd understand, don't worry.

After a few minutes, she put her index finger down, and closed the book. The book was placed on Airey's table and her paper and pencil inside her bag. "It can keep collecting dust here." Smile. Thank you, though.

Airey tried not to look to amused by Miss Wisteria's actions. He honestly had expected her to just take the book and head back to the dorms, but her Slytherin was showing instead.

Dust. Right. Yes. He saw past that innocent smile of your's, young lady.

"I hope you put those to good use," he said with a sly smile. "And try to leave the tapestries and curtains alone this time, yeah?" His smile widened just a tad as he reached down to his right and lifted a box on to his desk. "Don't worry, I cleaned them myself. But you should be the one to return them to Professor Hadley."

Airey was sure the common room looked rather bare without them.

"Sowry it took longer than I h-ho-HooATCHOO!" Oakey turned his head away as quickly as he could and covered his face with his sleeve. Maybe it was a bad idea to take a nap in the tree house in the Winter...then down a quickly made Veggie Drink."Excuse me."

He reached into the his robe pocket and pulled out the parchment that Theo had worked on. The one Oakey was sure the Slytherin had written in full Essay form. Just as he assumed Firth told him too. and held it out to the Astronomy Professor.
Oh goodie! Airey had oh so been looking forward to this.

Grinning from ear to ear, Airey fixed his tie when Mr. Gunter's face began to contort slightly as a sneeze came on. What WAS it with wanting to sneeze when someone in front of you sneezed? Or was that yawning? Maybe it was both? Either way, the astronomer's nose began to itch and he too felt a sneeze coming on.

Only he was able to hold it in until the Head Boy offered him the parchment.

"Tha ---------ACHOOOOOOO!" And he sneezed right on his right hand, which he still extended to the boy for a handshake while his left took the parchment. Once he had it, he opened it up and looked over what he was sure would be a fantastic and well thought out essay on Star Trek filled with........

"Mr. Gunter..........what is this rubbish?" he asked, holding the parchment out in front of the boy's face.
