Ethan nodded along with everything Alec was saying. Yes, he was fairly sure they had a decent potion on their hands. All that was left was to try it out. He stood and waited for the younger boy to just hit his arm or something so they could try it out. He was eager to see if it actually worked. "No, she'll be fine," he said, shaking his head as he mentioned Min. She would understand his want for experimentation, right?

"Yeah, yeah, come on," he said, nodding and bracing himself for the blow. A little punch wasn't any big deal.. and certainly worth to see if his made up potion was successful. He took a deep breath and winced just slightly as Alec's fist made contact with his upper arm.

"Alright, cool," he said, scooping up a little of the cooling potion. It was still rather warm but he'd deal with it. "Now to see if it works." He slathered the ointment-like potion onto his arm where Alec hit him and waited for a moment. "I think it's working," he said after a minute. "It seems to be cooling down and absorbing the pain." He grinned at Alec over their success. "Okay.. so I guess we just get a sample for Lafay and we're done, yeah?" Oh, Ethan was so excited that it actually worked.. he wasn't sure about the redness though, he'd have to wipe it off first. And yeah, ice cream was cool too.. Grin.
