West resisted the urge to fill the glass up to the specified level and then decant it into a measuring jug to check the precise amount... but he'd do that later when Theo wasn't watching.

"Intent means the thing what you want for it to do." He supplied, also very seriously, then he looked at the cauldron. "Lets stick the heat on." And he did that, turning the heat to medium and then watching it for a moment. So the hard candy in there would probably melt soonish.

He started to slice the caterpillars. "What do you think we should do to the spiders?" Given all the junk he'd copied for notes about them, there was a bunch of possible ways. "I think we should pluck the hairs off the nettles before we toss them in, so that the stinging parts are gone." Since it was a healing potion, supposedly.

Intent: Temporarily reduce the symptoms of injuries sustained during Quidditch so that a player can either continue playing in a match or be made more comfortable until a healer can attend them, and shrink the problem away.

Ingredients:
Water (3/4 of a glass)
Spiders
Nettles
Daisy Root
Caterpillars, x 3 sliced
Icepops
Butterscotch x1 piece of hard candy
Peppermint

Process:
(include what you do to the potion ingredients, your brewing process, and what you observe. Did it change color at one phase? Did it boil, or steam, or have other observable effects?)

___v 3/4 of a glass
Add water to the cauldron. Add one piece of hard butterscotch candy. Turn the heat to medium and let the candy melt slowly.
