She had planned on starting her maternity leave early, but that had gone out the window when that way-too-nasty-to-be-real lawyer had shown up and derailed her plans to test the tea. But now that he was gone, she was free to do just that. So, she hauled her nine months pregnant rear back up here and to the lab. The nasty lawyer had done her one service, though (besides acting as a rather refreshing punching bag). The last time she'd been up here, she had forgotten the paperwork that she needed to fill out as she ran her tests. This time, though, she hadn't.
Before Roxanne got started, she read through the page and filled out what she could, just to make sure of the information needed. When she got to the bottom, she was reminded of something else she needed. Anyone not belonging to the CMEC had to have a witness who was. Okay, there was no way. Huh uh. Nope. Especially since there was only essentially one person left in that divison since Aron's promotion (whom she really needed to find and congratulate). And it wasn't really a good idea for them to be in a room alone together. Not since her new favorite pastime was riling him up. Not to mention her suspicions of why, exactly she was able to rile him so easily. She could just fake a name later or something.
She pulled her hair back and slipped on a pair of rubber gloves. And now that she knew where the microscope slides were, this would be a piece of cake. She opened the bag containing the teacup and pulled out some of the leaves with a freshly Scourgify-ed pair of tweezers, placed them on the top of the slide, added a small drop of water from a dropper, covered it with the slide cover and placed it in the appropriate place on the microscope. Then, focusing the lens, she got to work.
