Besides, she didn't need help, anyway. Unless Bliss had already found it before?
Nope, not even then.
She didn't say anything, but it wasn't like she needed to. Bliss knew she'd tripped and fallen over, and she knew that Alice had seen her, too. "Lucky it was your shoe and not your skull, aren't you?" No dead Hufflepuff on her clean conscience, either. Good day. If Bliss was done accidentally involving her in near-death experiences now, could she go back to knot-finding? It was important. Really. So that explained that, but it didn't explain why Alice wanted it to be immobilized in the first place. In Bliss' opinion, dodging the branches was much more fun, if a little dangerous. What was life without a life danger, though. "How come you want it immobilized anyway?" Curious thing, wasn't she? She raised her eyebrows minutely; Alice Fischer was asking HER, Bliss Ryans, whether she knew where it was. Was she getting that desperate now? It must be that.
HUMPH. "I've done worse." Than her foot, not her head. Knocked unconscious in Quidditch, broken her wrist three times, among many other smaller injuries. Although, a cracked-skull may NOT be something that she'd be proud of. Well, she might, if she lived through it. Which, Alice had a point, she probably wouldn't. "Time for me to go," she said abruptly and jumped to her feet. "Later," maybe. She smiled a little at Alice, for the sakes of politeness and then headed up, away from the Whomping Willow and Alice. She called over her shoulder briefly. "Oh, and you might want to try the bottom right hand side of the tree." If her memory proofed correct.
Helpful, wasn't she? |
