Oakey followed behind the rest of the group after Lottie's ingraving into the plank moved it aside and they went forward. He kept a watchful eye on the Unicorn and looked around for Professor Botros. The Man was old so Oakey let him take his time, but if the Unicorn decided to freak out because...lets say Laura decided to do something reckless. Oakey would have no clue what to do.

So on top of keeping everyone at a safe distance from the creature Oakey was also overhearing the talk about what the next Rune would be. He glanced over and read it. Nodding in agreement with Jory's first guess. "No, stick with Fehu. Just about the whole riddle points to a lot of it's concepts. Wealth, Power, Sustenance." Oakey started. "Look where it says 'Devour our fears.' That makes me think of two things; Sustenance as I mentioned before and instilling courage in us. Fehu is normally refered to as the Rune of luck, but you can't be lucky if you aren't risky, and making risks takes a lot of courage." So...uh yeah. That's what he thought. He'd go ahead and carve it into the plank, but he figured his wand was best trained on the Unicorn should Laura scare the poor thing the Horse get startled.
