The cauldron was boiling just at the foot of the comfy couch she was lounging in. She decided to do a reading before she headed down to the Great Hall for breakfast; convenience reasons mostly. There was no way she was lugging all this downstairs with her and she was even less likely to walk all the way back up here afterwards, especially with knowing she'd have to pay again.

Lex glanced down at the water that was now simmering and bit into her chocolate frog again. Yeah. That was good enough. Lex got off the couch to to get her cup 3/4 filled and of course the adding of the tea leaves. She let it brew while she did that whole meditation thing (No talking, nope).

Once the tea was cool enough she began sipping at it, clearing her mind the entire time.

She stopped with the last bit left in there and gave it three swirls. Hopefully these would turn out better than the last or they could all forget about her doing a third reading. The Gryffindor could only take so much bad news!

Lex upturned the cup, marked the spot of the handle so she'd know where to start the reason then got to it. This time she was looking CLOSELY just in case the image could be interpreted in different ways in which case she'd pick the ones she liked best. Or...was that not how this worked...?

Um...Tomato...and anchor and....a bush maybe...?

Lex grabbed for her textbook after scribbling them down for her journal entry.



Hellooooooo, what's this? What did tomato mean??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! No.

She turned the parchment at another angle and took another look. Now that she thought about it, it looked a lot like...uhhh, she skipped through the book. Cake. She liked cake so this looked like cake. There you have it. The first one was now cake. Nodnodnod. Time to journal it.
