Hop. Hop. Hop.

Lex made her way down the corridor, half way through a chocolate frog. Up to this point she had NO IDEA what her boggart would look like. As far as she was concerned she had the heart of a lion, NOTHING scared her. She figured she'd just walk in there and have a good laugh at the boggart because it'd probably be confused as it related to her.

Maybe she'd pet it afterward and tell it not to feel bad. It wasn't it's fault she was a Gryffindor and a darn good one at that.

SHE WAS READY FOR THIS!!

Lex threw the door open and only glanced around the room briefly, the thing she'd come for was inside that large trunk over there. "Hellooooo? Mr. Boggart?? Come on out, I'm heeeere!" Here and waiting kinda impatiently too. Juuuust saying. Giggle. She chewed anxiously at her chocolate frog, quite intrigued by the idea of her deepest fear. At the moment, nothing was coming to mind. Maybe...maybe it'd be something super epic!! Like...like a BEAR--oh wait..she wasn't scared of those...DRAGON...no...no she thought those were cool. MAYBE IT'D JUST BE A CHOCOLATE FROG AND SHE COULD EAT IT AND GO BACK TO HER DORM HAPPY!!!

Siiiigh, now she was just getting impatient.

Finally the trunk opened up. The first thing to appear was a hand...then a foot and soon, "Daddy!" He didn't tell her he was coming here! Did he already eat her chocolate frog boggart? If so then he owed her a new one. Her smile faded when she saw the baby in his hands. "And you brought Jessa..." Boo.

"Alexa we need to talk."

She scrunched her nose at the use of her whole name. It wasn't something he did unless she was in trouble. "Okay..."

"I've given it some thought and Amanda's right. The house isn't big enough for all the havoc you cause. She's been right all along and I'm only just seeing what a horrid little monster you are." Her eyes widened significantly and she stared over at the man cuddling up with the baby. Bliiiink. What in merlin's beard...? Whaaaa...? "I don't understand." She finally admitted, taking just a step forward.

"Stay away from us! You're not wanted anymore. I have all the people I care about right here in my arms." And he proceeded to snuggle the baby that giggled away happily, almost spitefully in fact.

Nope NOPE NOPE NOOOPE!! She was the favourite!! This wouldn't work, it wasn't happening, there was no baby, her father would lover her forever. If there was one thing Lex was good at when it came to unpleasant things, it was being in denial. This was NOT happening, mm-mm, NOOOO. "Hah!" She forced a laugh because this wasn't happening and it needed to GO AWAY. "Hahahahahaaha!" No, "I'm the favourite, VERY FUNNY OF YOU BOGGART!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!" Once fully convinced that it wasn't real she took a deep breath from her laughing and raised her wand. "Riddikulus!"

Immediately the baby began contorting until it was in the shape of a bouncy rubber ball at which point her father began bouncing it around before throwing it through a hoop that has just appeared.

"That's more like it." She scoffed, turning sharply on her heel and making a quick exit. That was a real eye-opener and now she needed to go owl her father to set this all straight.
