Jory was still yawning when he made it to the Hufflepuff table. In his hands he had his Divination textbook, a quill and a bottle of ink. Since it were only three things he needed, he figured he'd leave his book bag behind. Jory needed to calm his rumbling stomach so he served himself some porridge. That always seemed to be there. Next, came a few scoops of ice cream. Can't have meals without ice cream, you know.
Now that breakfast was behind him, Jory now grabbed the empty cup he had brought and poured some tea into his solo cup that had been assigned to him 3/4 of the way. He tried to clear his mind, blocking out everything around him. It was a good thing the Hall wasn't occupied by many persons right then. Jory picked up the cup with his left hand and drank. Was there anything particular that kept bothering him? Nope. This was going to be another general reading.
The Puffer gave his nearly empty cup three swirls after which he emptied it onto the the Dixie plate in front of him. He waited three breaths before setting the cup on the right side again. Time to look for symbols!
Jory began from the twelve o clock angle. For the rim portion, he noticed a walking stick. The Middle there was a vase and at the base there was a snake. Now that he had the symbols, he began to scribble out his journal entry:
Jory put down his quill. He liked the meanings for these symbols. Well, now he was done with one entry. Just two more to go.
