Mack had sat up late into the night after the staff vs. student quidditch match to write her grandfather. She didn't want to discuss her parents, but knew that once she started writing she would. So pushing as many thoughts from her mind as possible she began.

SPOILER!!: letter Pop, I really don't know what to say about my parents. I'm in shock. I don't want to come home because then it really has to be real. I'll just wait until Christmas, I hope that doesn't make gran upset with me. In other news, I'm really loving this term at Hogwarts, I MADE THE QUIDDITCH TEAM!! Our first match is Saturday week, I really hope you can make it. We play Hufflepuff. I hope that you and gran are well, though i would assume you not to be. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine here.
