Kace was feeling confident using the required charms and even starting the ones that were not required. He would love to try them out and see if he could handle it. He wanted to try and waterproof his desk first.
He tapped his desk and said, "Impervious?" and nothing happened. Hmm...maybe he said it wrong. He tried again, "Impervius!" and then it worked. His desk was waterproof. It was a good thing too incase he drooled on it from sleeping. Just kidding he would never do that...or would he? He also looked at the window near his desk and that looked like it was leaking.
He went over and saw the water coming through. He tapped his wand on the window and said "Impervius!" and the window was waterproofed. He seemed confident that the spell was working. Then he saw bugs near the window building a nest. He gasped and then used the spell "Deleterius!" and then the bugs were gone and even the nest was gone.
Whew...that was a close one. Good thing it wasn't a nest of bees. That would have been horrible to deal with.
