As Ivy was making her rounds, she heard a girl ask... if she could ask a question. Well, that was sort of redundant, but Ivy let her continue with a sigh. "Well, there are several theories, all of which are complicated, and have hundreds of questions in themselves, but we don't need to get into that." But since that probably wouldn't satisfy her curiosity...

"It's just gone, and so is the spider," she said flatly. "Get back to work." And if she was really curious she could ask her later, when she wasn't supposed to be practicing her charms.
