Besides, this water was gotten with hard work and while ice-cream eating. It was special.
Now for the fun part. As should be expected, she made a face at Mo and his little statement. Pffft, she wasn't about to burn herself. There was nothing to it. "Incendio!" Seeeeee and she didn't get hurt. He should totally brag to Vivi about this, let her know she was better at spells and junk than when the girl had been coming here. "Does that fire work for you?"
Oh and he was done with the cutting! They'd just wait for it to start boiling then they could throw stuff in and hope it went BOOM it worked out perfectly and they could brag about being good potioneers.
"The fire works," Mo agreed, giving it a brief glance. It was obvious he HAD hit a small nerve with Lex, and it sort of spoke volumes about her maturing over the past term that she didn't bite his head off about it. "Now we'll just wait for it to boil..." he peered into the cauldron, but they had only just yet achieved a simmer.
"Maybe you can pick out the Abraxan hairs from this clump here. I just pulled a bunch of hair out of the door hinge in the barn, and there's obviously some silvery-white hair in there that belongs to Barlow's unicorns. We only want the plain white hair... the Abraxan hair." That was a sort of difficult task, but he suspected that Lex was up to it.
"I'm thinking what we're going for here is a resolve-strengthening potion. Erm... a Stubbornness Potion, if you will." The water started to bubble and Mo scrapped in first the ginger and then the dandelion roots, pausing to stir once clockwise in between. "We'll want to drop in the cockroaches whole later... how many chicken feathers do you want to add?"
