She noticed Min looking at a young down down further in the stands. She wasn't sure who he was, but of course she'd welcome him to sit with them too if he wanted. She smiled and waved while Min was talking to him, to help make him feel noticed.
Yet another person was joining their little cluster of people, and Min seemed to know her too. What did she call her? Susie? She smiled at the girl, waved and said in a sing-song fashion, "Hellooo!"
And wait, what? Eliza heard Min say something to Ariana about Oakey and her liking him. Was Ariana having boy troubles? Eliza was so out of the loop with the student gossip. Mainly because she just never snooped around, but also because she was still young and maybe people didn't want to share that information with her yet. She looked over to Ariana and gave her a smile. She didn't know why a boy wouldn't like her. She seemed smart and she was really pretty, so...what was the problem? All the girls at school seemed to be really pretty though. In fact, she was pretty sure that she herself was one of the least cute girls, and although she knew looks weren't everything, it did make her a little shy sometimes.
Eyes back on the game, she held a deep breath as she watched the struggle for the snitch. Dylan sure is fast! She crossed her fingers for him and then - "Yeahhhhh! GO DYLAN!!" How did she know his name? Well he was sort of iconic around here - plus he hung around Beezus a lot, so...you pick up on some things.
She REALLY liked the direction this game was going so far.
